A new report from the American Hospital Association's (AHA's) Health Research & Educational Trust affiliate describes how eight hospital teams used the Lean Six Sigma process to improve hand-washing rates for health care workers. The project was conducted by the Joint Commission Center for Transforming Healthcare, with support from the AHA and other organizations.
