High noise levels in the hospital are a major concern. One of the most common patients’ complaints is that they can’t get a good night’s sleep. Patients who cite noise levels in their room are less satisfied with their overall hospital experience, and that lowers overall patient satisfaction scores and reimbursement.

This webinar will cover how acoustics affect patient privacy and comfort in health care facilities, what sound masking is, how it can help improve patient satisfaction scores (HCAHPS score) and help health care facilities stay HIPAA compliant.

Join us for this webinar and learn how to:

  • Lower the perceived noise level in hospitals
  • Improve HCAHPS scores by improving “quiet at night” responses
  • Stay HIPAA compliant by masking private conversations that may contain sensitive medical or personal information
  • Create a patient-centered acoustic environment
  • Use acoustic design techniques to increase privacy and reduce distractions
  • Show best practices for installing sound masking for maximum effectiveness in areas such as patient wings and exam rooms.
