The New Jersey Hospital Association (NJHA) this week released a planning guide to help nursing homes prepare for a flu pandemic. Modeled after a similar tool the association developed for hospitals, the guide addresses clinical, operational, communications and other preparedness issues. NJHA is giving free CD copies of the toolkit to the state's nursing homes and state long-term care associations across the country.
