Health & Human Services last month released "Partnering to Heal" an online video training program to help new and experienced health care personnel, patients and families prevent healthcare-associated infections. The interactive program promotes a team-based approach to reducing preventable infections by allowing viewers to assume the role of one of five characters who can make decisions that impact health risks in a hospital, view the results of those decisions and learn from the outcomes.
