The Joint Commission recently invited customers and other interested parties to comment on its standards via an online form on its website. The Joint Commission announced in the May 4 issue of its Joint Commission Online e-newsletter that it is interested in knowing which standards customers and stakeholders value the most and which they consider to be of questionable value to the delivery of quality health care. There are feedback forms for all accreditation and certification programs online. The mechanism is part of the Joint Commission's Robust Process Improvement initiative to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of internal processes and to better meet customers' needs and expectations of value.
