The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) manages more than 300 codes and works with more than 250 technical committees in its codes and standards development process. Below is a list of NFPA committee happenings for the week of June 30 to July 4.
Meeting notices, agendas and minutes
The following committees released information on meeting notices, agendas and minutes.
NFPA 1, Fire Code. The committee posted second draft meeting minutes from its June 4-5 meetings. The minutes pertain to the code’s 2027 edition and are posted under the “next edition” tab in the “second draft committee information” section.
NFPA 30, Flammable and Combustible Liquids Code. The committee posted four agendas for upcoming meetings taking place Aug 5-8. The agendas pertain to the second draft of the code’s 2027 edition and are posted under the “next edition” tab in the “second draft committee information” section.
NFPA 72, National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code. The committee posted three agendas for upcoming meetings taking place July 28-31. The agendas pertain to the second draft of the code’s 2028 edition and are posted under the “next edition” tab in the “second draft committee information” section.
NFPA 80, Standard for Fire Doors and Other Opening Protectives. The committee posted pre-first draft meeting notices for an upcoming meeting taking place Aug. 21. The meeting will pertain to the standard’s 2028 edition and are posted under the “next edition” tab.
NFPA 99, Health Care Facilities Code. The committee posted second draft agendas for upcoming meetings taking place Aug. 17 and Aug. 14. The agendas pertain to the second draft of the code’s 2027 edition and are posted under the “next edition” tab in the “second draft committee information” section.
NFPA 105, Standard for Smoke Door Assemblies and Other Opening Protectives. The committee posted pre-first draft meeting notices for an upcoming meeting taking place Aug. 21. The meeting will pertain to the standard’s 2028 edition and are posted under the “next edition” tab.
