The Aug. 28 edition of the Joint Commission Online newsletter published the top five requirements most frequently identified as "not compliant" in the first half of 2013 for accredited organizations over a variety of programs. Among the problematic standards and goals identified by the Joint Commission were several environment of care, life safety and infection control requirements for hospitals and critical access hospitals.
