AHA resource: Improving Care for People with Disabilities
The AHA Dec. 4 released a new resource outlining how hospitals and health systems can take action to improve care for people with disabilities. Solutions were co-designed by hospital leaders, clinicians and disability advocates during a national convening by the AHA, which has expanded its work on reducing disparities in health outcomes to include people with disabilities.
