In addition to elevator-recall and exit-sign testing, ASHE is interested in gathering data regarding monthly fire-extinguisher inspections. These monthly inspections can take significant time and resources to complete, and anecdotally provide very few failures.
In order to establish real data to help determine if a change in this requirement would be appropriate, ASHE would like to request the completion of one additional survey on monthly fire extinguisher inspections.
