Joint Commission seeks comments on proposed HAI goals

The Joint Commission is accepting comments on proposed National Patient Safety Goals for preventing ventilator-associated pneumonia and catheter-associated urinary tract infections. The goals are based on strategies developed by the Healthcare-Associated Infections Allied Task Force, whose members include the Joint Commission.
