The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) manages more than 300 codes and works with more than 250 technical committees in its codes and standards development process. Below is a list of NFPA committee happenings for the week of Jan. 12-16.    

Public input periods

The following standards are open for public input:

To submit a public input using the NFPA’S online submission system, go directly to standard’s web page using the links above and select the next edition tab. Once on the next edition tab, select the link "Submit Public Input Online" to begin the process. You will be asked to log-in or create a free online account with NFPA before using this system.

Meeting agendas

NFPA 110, Standard for Emergency and Standby Power Systems. The committee posted first draft meeting agendas for its upcoming Jan. 27-28 meetings to discuss the standard’s 2028 edition. The agendas are posted under the next edition tab in the first draft committee information section.

NFPA 111, Standard on Stored Electrical Energy Emergency and Standby Power Systems.
