The American Hospital Association (AHA) Certification Center has launched the Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) credential for professionals in health care construction. "The CHC represents the collective wisdom and shared vision of ASHE leaders and experts who have worked in health care construction for decades," says Dale Woodin, executive director of the AHA's American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE). The certification exam will be offered for the first time this month at the International Summit & Exhibition on Health Facility Planning, Design and Construction, hosted by ASHE and the American Institute of Architects. A computer-based version of the exam will be available by early summer through Applied Management Professionals Inc. at participating H&R Block locations.
