Maintaining a clean and safe hospital environment remains a central focus for Health Facilities Management and in August HFM will launch an electronic newsletter dedicated to serving the content needs of our audience.

ES News will provide original reporting and expert guidance from the profession's top thought leaders in environmental services, infection prevention and sustainability. Each edition will provide readers with in-depth reports on topics such as:

  • Industry research;
  • Cleaning and disinfection protocols;
  • Staff training and education;
  • Sustainability;
  • Technology;
  • Trends in health care;
  • And more.

In addition, ES News will provide readers with access to HFM's original surveys, multimedia reports, columns and commentaries about the keys to providing patients, visitors and staff with a clean and safe environment. The newsletter will also feature Q&A interviews with leading experts in areas ranging from infection prevention to environmental services to patient satisfaction.

"Health Facilities Management readers have a deep commitment to maintaining a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff. ES News readers will have greater access to our content in a mobile environment," says Bob Kehoe, associate publisher.

Initially, ES News will publish six times per year, aimed at keeping ES directors, infection control specialists, facilities managers and other primary stakeholders in environmental safety up-to-date on the latest trends in maintaining a clean and safe environment.
